autopsy-setup

Setup for Autopsy 4.20.0 with plugins

Step 0: Install ``OpenJDK8U-jdk_x64_windows_hotspot_8u352b08.msi`

Step 1: Download Autopsy and use the installer (Path in this example C:\DFIR\Autopsy4.20\): https://github.com/sleuthkit/autopsy/releases/download/autopsy-4.21.0/autopsy-4.21.0-64bit.msi

Step 2a: Download latest NSRL Hashsets: https://sourceforge.net/projects/autopsy/files/NSRL/

Step 2b (optional): https://sleuthkit.org/autopsy/docs/user-docs/4.15.0/geolocation_page.html

Step 2c (optional): Create a Yara Rules set and import this: https://github.com/Yara-Rules/rules or use the folder in this repo

Step 3: Install Video Triage Plugin: https://www.autopsy.com/add-on-modules/video-triage/

Step 4: Install all Plugins in the Folder Plugins

Step 5: Copy and paste python_modules and Python_modules1 to C:\Users\N0\AppData\Roaming\autopsy

Restart Autopsy
